Problem with knock reading

With my scangauge i havent seen any knock with my car and i thought this was weird, so what i did was set the indicator on for knock and i set it to 4. once i hit the gas and got to redline i seen no knock begin read on my gauge but the indicator lights came on ? so my question is what is up with this is there a calibration setting thats wrong or maybe i have to send it in to get re-flashed....

Which knock parameter are you looking at?

There is nothing wrong with the calibration, could you have been looking at long term knock, or fuel knock, and monitoring short term of total knock (called knock retard on gauge)?

You haven't given much info. Are you expecting to see knock and why? You can easily miss a quick knock reading that is caught by the warning light and by the time you look at the display it's gone. It's also possible, although rare, that the gauge received a false response from the PCM for one scan (it scans 20x per second) that caused the light to go off.

ill check maybe i am not looking at the right knock i didnt think of that ill check and tell u what happens......and the reason i think i may have some knock is becaue im a little lean and thought i might have
