Wait a minute. The port in the head you guys are using is after the factory head gasket oil restrictor. How is this a good place to put an oil pressure sending unit? I've always wondered this so, somebody please clear this up.

That's where I personally put my sensor, you can put it anywhere you want. This is where the Mopar oil pressure sensor connects as well. It's probably by far the most popular place to put it.

I haven't seen any problem putting it there, response is immediate. There is no lag when pressure rises and the sensor detects it. There is a 3/8" fitting on the oil pan near the return line as well that I was originally thinking of using.

These both (oil and fuel) have the same intercept and slope settings?
