Wait a minute. The port in the head you guys are using is after the factory head gasket oil restrictor. How is this a good place to put an oil pressure sending unit? I've always wondered this so, somebody please clear this up.

That's where I personally put my sensor, you can put it anywhere you want. This is where the Mopar oil pressure sensor connects as well. It's probably by far the most popular place to put it.
I haven't seen any problem putting it there, response is immediate. There is no lag when pressure rises and the sensor detects it. There is a 3/8" fitting on the oil pan near the return line as well that I was originally thinking of using.
any pics of the fuel an oil pressure kits? wondering how visible they will be in the engine. thanks
As in installed pics? I don't have any for the SRT4. If you install the oil pressure sensor on the side of the head, you can't see it. This is the easiest place to install it. The FP, that's going to depend on where you put it.
Refresh the page and try again. I just tried it and it works. We updated the sensor page last week. The fuel pressure sensor kit has changed, we use a 1/8" NPT fitting now, with a more accurate (.5% vs 1%) sensor. This sensor should eliminate one adapter for most people.

Todd
so wi ll the 1/8" npt fitting screw right onto the 2003 stock fuel rail w/ the schraider valve?
im horrible w/ knowing the difference between sizes like -4an and 1/8"

No, you'll still need the AN adapter which I think is -4AN, you'll need to verify this. We sell these sensors to work with all OBD2 cars, they are not specific to 2003 SRT-4s or SRT-4's in general. Most adapters, such as the one we sell, have a 1/8" NPT port and a -4 AN female fitting, so this sensor eliminates the need to another 3/8 to 1/8 reducer.
