Default Humorous glitch

So today I went out and turned the car on accessory (not motor on) and my ETG on the Aeroforce showed 65k degrees

When I started the car up it read normally at 1640 @ WOT but what's the deal with accessory on showing insane EGT temps? My friend and I were laughing our asses off.

It's no big deal. Nothing has really changed in my setup aside from an SCT tune.

aren't the egt values just the ecu's estimation. i am pretty sure there is some calculation that the ecu does to give the values out.

You'll need to run that past Chrysler. It's obviously not valid with the engine off so they probably didn't consider that in their calculation.

Unless you have an automatic trans temp will not read a valid number. Manuals don't have sensors.
