Default How accurate...

I just picked up a brand new Aerometer (mechanical) boost gauge and it reads 19 fade to 14psi yet the aeroforce reads 16.4psi fade to around 11.8psi (which seems rather odd and low).

Which is gonna be right?

BTW I like the Performance part it seems spot on (see sig) it got me 13.50 @ 106 and an 8.8 @ 85mph and 0-60 in 5.4sec (can't launch on street tires for crap)

I would think the scangauge is rather accurate compared to a needle with tiny markings. The scangauge reads whatever the pcm is reading. I was adjusting my buddys agp wga on his 05 with stock pcm and I used the scangauge to see the boost. It was way to hard using the needle gauge when it rattles and shakes and stuff.

Yes, the stock MAP sensor is pretty accurate, within about 0.1 psi. What are you seeing with key on engine off for boost?

well if ur clamping then the scangauge is goin to read what u clamped it at. so i think the autometer is def more accurate if ur clamping or have a piggyback of some sort.
