Default guage contrast is horrible

So I connected the new gauge and was figuring stuff out, it was
working fine and then I think I hit something because the display was really dim and it was almost impossible to read, and something came up where the led's were flashing and when you hit a button they changed styles, and the screen was doing something wierd, it was like messing with the contrast. but then once I noticed it was just really dim I went inside because i didnt want to sit outside at my girlfriends house haha. Came back out figuring i could just change a dimmness setting or something along those lines and started the car and now the guage won't even come on! Any way to reset it?

i'm going to go try it out now and see if i can get it on, but any help would be appretiated, just got it yesterday

Your probably gonna have to send it back. If you have tried all the dimmer settings and inverting it and all, theres nothing eslse you can do urself to fix it.
forcefedjunkie will get you taken care of though don't worry.

Based one what you described I'm going to guess you were hitting buttons while it was booting up and through shear luck hit the right sequence and entered the service mode. Then you hit more buttons and screwed up the contrast.

Wait until it boots up before hitting the buttons!
