We will be working on this very soon. After numerous requests, I talked it over with Todd and he agrees its time to make this happen.
With us being a few streets over from Aeroforce, we get to see/hear/use some cool things. A gauge for the AEM EMS is long over due from Aeroforce.
Todd will be coming by the shop to borrow one of our cars to get the gauge done. After I have done a bit of testing to make sure its up to par..we will start taking orders.
Lets show Aeroforce how interested we really are. Post up if your interested in an aeroforce gauge that will work with the AEM EMS!
So maybe I'm missing something, but how is this really supposed to benefit us?
Would it be just for the simplicity of not having to lug around a laptop all the time?
In that case, it would be pretty neat, but I don't know if it's something I'd be wanting...I just like being able to datalog more than 2 parameters at one time, and be able to make changes right away.
Anyway, let's hear some of the benefits of this, and maybe that will peak more interest.

Many people are interested in monitoring data without having the top going.
Many people have zero clue how to tune their car and dont touch the laptop also. This gauge allows those people to watch some things.
Just another tool is all man. Its not going to be a huge market but we have had more than a few requests over the past year

i doubt that with u and aero in on this i think sales would be great. Only thing is advertising. Also will this new gauge work with all AEM EMS cars or only the srt???

Honestly its not going to be hard to get this gauge to work. It was more about finding the time to do it.
1) these AEM EMS compatible Aeroforce gauges will be unique to the AEM EMS, correct.
2) can existing Aeroforce gauge owners send in for an upgrade to the AEM compatible gauge
3) the Aeroforce AEM EMS gauge will get info from the ODB as done previously or will it be hooking up to the AEM directly
4) the user selected 0-5 analog inputs will still work with the Aeroforce AEM EMS gauge
5) how will the parameters be displayed on the gauge, by AEM channel or by Aeroforce values
6) how many values/channels will be available for the user
7a) if the user using the AEM software sets up a channel warning threshold how will the Aeroforce display this.
7b) if the user using the AEM software has setup channel warning thresholds for several channels and the user has the Aeroforce setup to display channel 1 (call it timing at this point) how will the Aeroforce display/react to one or more of the other channels having met a threshold.....for example will the display change and then blink, display change and then blink and then onto the next fault etc.........

As soon as I have all the answers, I will get Todd to Sticky this thread.
interested, because i plan on getting ems this summer and coming down for a tune

11.57@123mph cant seem to get a clean pass!!!!
11.59@119 (4th gear broke up and let off)
1.66 60' wasted on a 13.2@64mph
1) these AEM EMS compatible Aeroforce gauges will be unique to the AEM EMS, correct.
If all goes as expected, yes.
2) can existing Aeroforce gauge owners send in for an upgrade to the AEM compatible gauge
Yes, but we won't know for sure what features (bi-directional controls, cyclic scan, etc) will be available for every hardware version. Older gauges have less memory and cannot hold the newest code. We'll have something than just about every gauge can use except maybe the original standard gauges.
3) the Aeroforce AEM EMS gauge will get info from the ODB as done previously or will it be hooking up to the AEM directly
OBD2
4) the user selected 0-5 analog inputs will still work with the Aeroforce AEM EMS gauge
Yes
5) how will the parameters be displayed on the gauge, by AEM channel or by Aeroforce values
Dont' know that. It will probably be by parameter name as it is now.
6) how many values/channels will be available for the user
Don't know yet. If it's available on the AEM and is deemed important we'll add it.
7a) if the user using the AEM software sets up a channel warning threshold how will the Aeroforce display this.
You will probably have to set it up in the gauge as well.
The gauge will only react if the channel you chose to monitor using the annunciator function exceeds a threshold.
