Aero Gauge Contrast - SRT Forums

I installed my Aeroforce Scangauge today which was easy as hell... At one point an odd setup menu I hadn't seen since I first plugged it in and I think I changed some setting for the contrast of the gauge. As of right now my gauge is damn near unreadable. The contrast levels are too high. If I turn the key to the run position and it comes on then I go to crank it over the gauge gets a little darker to where I can read it, but once the car turns over it's back to the whole too much contrast.

Anybody have any ideas? I have the gauge completely unplugged for the night hoping tomorrow morning it resets itself...

There's probably a way to hard reset the unit. Did you try holding down both buttons for an extended period of time.

you hit buttons while the unit was booting. You need to send it back to aeroforce and they'll reset it for you.

I got an email from them which was awesome of them... You hold the left button while the two intro screens are showing while it's booting up. Release the left button after the last screen and it brings you to a screen to adjust the contrast and such.
