Testing this week and going to Moroso next weekend. We addressed every aspect of the car this year. Its fun working together with all of my guys on the Red Sled. James, Jason, Jeff, Nathan, Nubbs, Jay, Clem, Barry, and myself tagged teamed this and it shows. Its nice knowing that everything is done 100% in house and not dependant on nobody else. They all take pride into what they do for me and its great. I am very hard to work with sometimes but they understand why....its got to be my way LOL. They add there touches to it and it amazes me what we ALL can do here at DCR working together. There is no I in team and every one plays an important role to completion in every build we do. Kevin is going to have the fun job in driving this beast. Many trick components here that are one of a kind.
Yea its true, when everyone is on the same page. Impossible tasks become possible. All the hard work Darrell you & your men put into DCR. Gives us in the SRT4 community some fantastic products along with a great street car. From Minnesota many thanks to all @ DCR. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
All yall hard work is definitely appreciated, James: your an animal! , cant wait till we all hang out again.
after the smoke clears off the credit card, i got to get my hands on one of those big boy intake manifolds and coil setups! just puts a tear to my ear whenever i see it!

Yup thats yours in the back ground and James has been busting his but getting you ready as well. He must have put in 80hrs this week alone between your car and the Red Sled. All of us have the itch for racing now.

You said your using dcr cams, Im not Cock-blockin anyone but are they just modified crower or crane cams for a 420a eclipse or avenger.
I had Crane build some custom grinds for our new setup with special lift and duration. I actually did developmental work for all of the existing grinds for Crane for the 2.0 and 2.4 over the past 8 years of R&D and motor sports contract we have maintained. Its nice that they are willing to do whatever we need at any time. The grind has to be for the Avenger head so the opening and closing rates match for the cam opposite location. Modified cams to accommodate the head swap really do not work properly since the opening and closing rate of the lobes vary from intake to exhaust.

Kev do you know the offset on the drag rims? And did you guys have to shave those calipers to fit the rim on?
Not at all with the custom Wilwood brakes with light weight Strange rotors we did. 13s fit and clear fine with no problems. I think it was 5.5 backspace on yhose wheels. We tucked the struts in top and bottom with our moly lower control A-arms. We then shortened the axles up 1 inch on each side to "narrow" the front end for aerodynamics and big speed. This setup works! We will be offering our A-arms arms very soon.

i love the fact that the appearance hasnt changed much since last season. beats the honda and chevy guys just hacking the front end up and sticking a turbo there.
