Wow!! I had to be careful not to drool on my keyboard while looking at the pics. Was that a Gizzmo electronics shift light on the inside?

I think I may have slept a total of 8 hours over the past five days. We fired her up today and its nasty. Yup an Avenger head machined out to our DCR Pro Series spec using some new DCR cams. We are running the DCR 2.6 Stroker with the new DCR ProLite Crank and DCR ProLite Rods with 10,000 rpm safe limits. We are not playing around anymore and built the car with 8 seconds inside.

Really easy actually, due to we(DCR) fabricated all piping with 4 inch 304stainless steel utilizing V-band o-ringed connections.

The tried and proven 4 Inch Inlet 80mm Accufab throttle body mounted on our latest DCR Pro Series Avenger Manifold built for 10,000+rpm flow. New 18.5 degree downdraft design and larger runners and bellmouth inlets.

Yup thats yours in the back ground and James has been busting his but getting you ready as well. He must have put in 80hrs this week alone between your car and the Red Sled. All of us have the itch for racing now.

Since your using a Avenger head, can I asume that your using the "world block" also? Or does the new world head fit the neon srt4 blocks?

No sir, still using A855 SRT-4 block with the 420A Eclipse/Avenger cylinder head.

But looking forward to 2009 to be competing with the "world" engine in full DCR trim swapped into the Sled.

Any worries of sucking up rubber with that turbo placement? Those under hood pics show you really mean business.

Not at all. There is a sheet metal airbox that is going to ram air feed the turbo from the removed right front road light. This will weather seal completely to the bumper cover.

A new motor/tranny mount design we added to tie back to the K-frame utilizing a adjustable moly bar to preload the engine. There is no movement at all. Check out our tubular control arms and light weight brakes in the front.

Default Nice Set-up

Looks awsome! I like the fact that the Stock Radio is still in place. Lets not forget the importance of Tunes while waiting in line at the track. lol.
