so approximately what kind of HP numbers would it take to make an SRT-4 run that fast?
Somewhere in the 800-900hp range.

Kevin Van Natten is the actual owner/driver of the Red Sled (guy in the "snazzy red pajamas"), Darrell is the man behind the machine so to speak. When it all comes down to it there is very little on the car that is "full race" so to speak. Everything on the car can be purchased from Darrell Cox and put on any daily driven SRT.
I would say the most extravagent thing on the car would be the center motor mount setup which deletes the top and bottom mounts. It's really not that extravagent though, Darrell just really hasn't started marketing it yet.
In a nutshell...
2.6L Stroker
3 speed auto
72mm Turbo
tubular manifold
pro series intake
super beast intercooler
AEM ems
Innovative boost controler
stage 3 coilovers
24.5 slicks
Solid tune by Mark Riley
then small stuff here and there...
