This thread is an informative thread on who Darrell Cox Racing is and how we relate to you the owner of the SRT-4.

I am setting this up kind of like a book of who we are with a thread # as a reference for table of contents. This content is going to cover every aspect of DCR such as history and background from all of the past years including racing, speed, research and development.

It will even go into pictures and info of all the products that we offer.

This thread will be closed and for informative purposes only. It will take some time to complete and we are starting today

Looking back over the years...just a few pictures with many more to come

1st picture is Shaun Carlson's DCR powered Pro Front wheel drive Neon in 03.
2nd Green Goblin in Gainesville Fl in 2001.
3rd is Mike Crawford in his seat which he piloted to a NHRA Record of 9.07et @159 mph in 2001 at Englishtown NJ.
4th Traveling by Lake Havasu in Arizona
5th is the new look from Mopars Kevin Miller prior to the barb wire in 2002.
6th is the transporter of DCR and Scott Mohler getting wrapped with Mopars new look back in 2002 at JR Thompson's in Michigan.
7th Heading west to SEMA 2002 for Mopar.

More DCR...and DCR powered race cars!...and Shaun and Mike goofing off lol!

1st is Crawford's NHRA Hot Rod SRT4 at SEMA in the huge Mopar exhibit (north hall convention center in Vegas 2002)
2nd Brent Rau doing a burn out in Bra. Fl NOPI 2002.
3rd Brent backing up, clearing the smoke and getting ready for flight.
4th a few seconds prior to lift off.
5th Crawford's car at Shaun Carlson's shop in Ontario CA getting ready for SEMA 2002.
6th My favorite color scheme from Mopar.
7th 1000 horsepower SRT4 in 2002...turbo and nitrous!

SEMA in the fall of 2002 for Mopar....prior to the release of the production SRT4.

1st Many engines on display for Mopar.
2nd Top Fuel on bar top...thats my kind of bar!
3rd Carlson's and Crawford's DCR powered rides along side of transporter.
4th Rob dreaming.
5th Sponsor props.
6th V8 From Stanton engines.
7th Crawford dreaming.
8th Our transporter in north hall in Las Vegas Convention Center.
9th New HEMI.

1200+DCR horsepower in a Pro Front Wheel Drive

. At his first in Gainesville Fl. NHRA Sport Compact race Shaun set both ends of the PFWD record et & mph over the GMs Racinig Cavalier

. Shaun also qualified #1 and won the event. On top of that he also won best appearing car award

1st All tube chassis FWD.
2nd In the staging lane at first NHRA race with the big boys.
3rd Got turbo!
4th John Force's crew checking us out!
5th Carlson getting ready.
6th Hanging out with Don "the snake" Prudhomme.
7th All carbon fiber body.
8th ...
9th Trick golf cart.
10th All three DCR powered Mopars Carlson, Crawford, and Scott Mohler.

Smashed multiple records that had stood for over 15 years

2nd DCR SRT 800 horsepower engine in a Ford Roadster.

The salt flats at Bonneville in Utah is a sight to behold. This RaceDeck racing SRT4 with over 800+ DCR horsepower went over 220 miles per hour

and set several world records.

1st Jorgen Mollers DCR powered SRT4.
2nd I like the paint.
3rd All DCR.
4th More pit action.
5th Mopar used Moller's car in the SRT4 section of the 2007-2008 Mopar Perfromance Catalog.
6th Packing intercooler with ice.
7th Keeping it cool.
8th Getting ready for 200+++ mph for several miles.
9th Sun setting.
10th Working on the cars.

I am talking nasty horsepower here. Picking up both front wheels and setting them down at half track is not a problem for Brent Rau

. With its 5-speed clutch-less shift Jerico tranny and well over 1500 DCR hp it gets the job done.

This still is the "worlds quickest and fastest 4 cylinder drag car"

6 seconds @ over 200 mph in a 4 banger

....what tha?

Brent won the NHRA Modified Class last year 07.

Congrats Brent and good luck this year man!

This is what happened when the bedplate failed on our race car in Ennis Texas and Bandimere Colorado 2004...there are several pictures of other failures such as on the Pro Front Wheel Drive of Shaun Carlson...
