As of 3 days ago, I officially own a peice of paper thats says I will own a 2006 SRT8 Grand Cherokee.
The SRT-4 is currently in the process of changing ownership, and as sad as I am to see it go, I know it's going into the right hands, and I'll never forget my first SRT vehicle.
I'm not going to say thanks for the memories and all that sentimental stuff, because I'll still frequent these forums.
So, to a great "First" SRT vehicle, and for many more to come!

congrats man, the more and more I think about it, I don't want own another vehicle that doesn't have an SRT badge on it
ain't that the truth.
I think that was the whole marketing purpose of the SRT-4, to get us "youngin's" hooked on the SRT line of vehicles and make future buyers and loyal customers out of us.
I know, that when I can afford the SRT-8 Challanger..I WILL be buying one to go along with my SRT-4. Hopefully they'll have an Orange Blast Challanger

Anything said is false. DCX employees can go void someone elses warranty
everybody wants to fall in love

I suppose what we really needed was the president of the United States to be hanging off the side of a helicopter rescuing people that were unable to evacuate, but more than capable of looting all the liquor and electronic stores and paddling away in a canoe.
I ended up paying MSRP + TTL for the truck. Cueter Jeep was the only dealership in the area that didn't want 5-7K OVER MSRP. SRT8 Tuner hooked me up with a good refferal.
As far as the picture I put up, it looks like FWP is what the cost to dealership. That explains the gas charge, DETROIT METRO charges (where JNAP keeps most of the finished vehicles before they go to dealerships I beleive, there are at least 100 Jeep Commanders currently at the Detroit Metro Airport Lots), and the Loyalty survey charges, which are zero'd out on the MSRP side.
As soon as I pick it up I will take and post pictures!
Congrats on your purchase. I'm sure you're going to love it.
I don't want to sound like I'm trying to be a bummer, but as you may already know, a VON doesn't mean jack squat until your dealership gets allocation and you get out of BA status. D or D1 is when you have a VIN# and a guaranteed vehicle. If you're dealing with a reputible dealer, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
Have fun with the anticipation!! It's a roller coaster ride with a pot of gold at the end!!
