I cannot speak directly to your post, but I was able to get $500 under MSRP here in Frisco, TX.

Which dealer and who was your salesman? I hope it wasn't Bankston in Frisco. They refused to deal anything under MSRP.

boostedneonsrt4 ,

I'll be willing to pay MSRP on it if you have one on hand. I will go with either Inferno Red or Silver. It just so happens that I'll be moving to Jacksonville pretty soon and I'll be up there with my wife next week looking at property. If MSRP is ok, shoot me an email so I can give you all the details of what I'm looking for. Hey, I may end up buying a new house & a new car next week !!!

Thanks ahead,

I got my Inferno Red GC SRT-8 for $850 off list. I realize that's nothing to shout from the rooftop, but I'm satisfied. The dealer I bought from had ordered 3 at their first opportunity & none were spoken for when I contacted them on 12/10/05. They ordered a black and a silver with everything but the overhead DVD system and a red with every option. I'd dealt with them a couple of times in the last 5 years & they promised me the silver for MSRP when it arrived & I put a $500 deposit on it. They said it would be here the second week in Jan. at the latest. The black arrived in that week & sold the same day. At the end of the third week the other 2 were "any day now". In the meantime another dealer I'd made an email inquiry to had received a silver exactly like I wanted & called about 8 PM one evening to see if I was still interested in it. I called the cel # the sales guy at the original dealership had given me & passed on this info telling him I needed a concrete delivery date by 9 AM the following day. He called the next morning @ 8:30 and said they were unloading the red GC SRT-8 while we were on the phone but the silver was still not there but if I'd even remotely consider the red he'd hold it until I could get by the dealership. I went that evening & upon seeing it loved the red. I had no real desire for the overhead DVD system & that was the reason I'd chosen silver. I told him I'd pay 1/2 the cost of the DVD if they'd waive the $225 markup for the red since I'd specified silver, they agreed & I drove it home that evening.

I guess I'm going to have to shop around it too!! I mean I know the vehicle is hot...but that's why manufacturers have MSRP's. I don't mind paying MSRP for it. The other thing is that I am pretty flexible as to where I can buy it(within Florida) as I'm constantly traveling to Orlando and Jacksonville.
