Default interior mod questions

hello. new member and owner. i got my srt8 less than a week ago and im already tired of the plastic dashboard. i'd like to wrap the dash in leather or suede to give it a more finished/clean look. anybody got any ideas on how to do it/who to do it. thanks

I see that your in MD......I live in Philadelphia and have an installer who is the finest in the tri-state area.....He specializes in Porsche, Mercedes, Lamborghini, Ferrari/Masarati and BMW.....doing domestics is his favorite however due to the level of ease!! He could EASILY set you up with any interior color/ fabric you can dream of....done within a week or 2 at the most!! ....let me know if your serious and i will have him call you.....PM your info.....

While the dash is formed of plastic, the textured pattern seems well suited to the overall sporting scheme throughout the GC SRT-8's interior IMO. It looks fine to me. Be aware that dash removal, covering & re-installation would be inviting rattles, squeaks & numerous noise related problems. Be very sure it's worth the risk before you undertake this project & good luck either way.
