Default Break In for Jeep SRT8

What is the break in period for the Jeep SRT 8? I heard a rumor that there is none... is that true?

Manual says first 300 miles: soft accel from stop, and semi hard accel once cruising.
And obviously keep it under 80

Don't worry though even with "soft acceleration from a stop, & semi-hard acceleration once cruising" you'll still be able to cover a TBSS easily enough., LOL.

Lol I smoked a TBSS while I was breakin in my Jeep and it was in the rain! Its the first 300miles but keep it under 55mph its safest that way. After about 2000 miles you'll be completely done and it will be how its gonna be.

After the 300 mile breakin just go ahead and drive how ever you want to. I wouldn't do to many 100+ mph runs until you get close to the 2000 mark just to be safe.
