Anything is better than a DCR clutch. I think a round piece of cardboard and a paper plate would make for a better clutch than a DCR clutch.

I have the new dcr clutch right now. I am still breaking in the motor/clutch and will be getting it dyno tuned in jan. I will let you know how much power it can handle. Seems to be doing just fine right now.

Aye

I bought the SBC Stage 4 from Aaron and Rick installed the clutch for me. The clutch is BEAUTIFUL - absolutey drives like stock! with the new setup i will be running in 08, Im very confident Aaron and Rick hooked me up w/ a very good clutch to withstand the newfound power!

Thanks again guys!

which stage would be good for 500 ftlbs tq? But I'm looking for one that can also handle a bit more say when i switch from my pump tune to my c-16 tune. And what would I be looking at price wise?

I was one of the 1st ones to have a SBC stage 3 and abused the hell out of it and held up every time pass after pass

It even held up great around 500ish torque.......but of course we dont recommend that for a stage 3 clutch
