Default "Whistle" noise from engine bay after downshift

Not sure what it is and hoping I could get some help. It's after I downshift and the car is "engine braking". It's periodic, sometimes at higher rpms, sometimes at lower rpms, but usually around 2500-3000ish.

I do have a Greddy Type-S bov and not sure if it's my string not holding. It sounds as it always has. It seems to be working the same.

Thanks for any input in advance!
Josh

Not a supercharger sound. My guess is vac leak also. Haven't had a chance to test yet. Thanks for the input!

Been listening closely lately and there is a bit of noise when boosting, but you can only hear right when you start in first gear when driving next to a wall. Because of my side exit, once you get goin the exhaust note and the air make too much noise to hear it under boost.

I'm goin to boost leak test tonight.

No apparant cause for the noise. No leaks. Throttle body was makin different noises than usual when the air passes by though.

Your intake manifold gasket could be leaking...My car did the same thing. WHen i turned it on it would do it for like 2 secs but as the day went on it got worse and worse to the point that it was always doing it...Look by your injectors and see if the gasket is blown cuz you could actually see mine sticking out a little bit...

Performed a boost leak test and opnened the trhottle body while diong it and no leak at the intake gasket.

Just sold the car today though so the problem is no longer mine. Still think it might have been the bov or the throttle body needed replaced/repaired.
