Default Turbo/Exhaust Manifold red hot...

So tonight I come home from being out and go to check my rex mounts... It was dark out and I popped my hood.. I noticed my exhaust/turbo manifold was a nice cherry red.. not deep cherry red but enough to see it in the dark....

Is this normal... I wasn't ragging on the car just normal driving with some spirited accelration..

Is this normal.. Should I be worried???

Please let me know..

David

That glow is a by product of the thing that gives you a smile when you mash the gas pedal. Power.

All that talk and no suggestions! LOL!!! When you see it like that get back in the car and start it and let it cool down.

Thats the old school turbo timer. You might have been driving a little faster than you think!
