I also just got an 1188. Anyone know what this is?
i got it, air/fuel metering, which means that the computer thinks you are over boosting. at least i was overboosting and reaching spark cut at 17psi on stage 0.
SO how does a person resolve this then?

1188 - Capped The Red Line And The Cold Air Nipple. Reset The Ecu Via The Battery Or Fuel Pump Fuse.
Done, still get the code. I got rid of it for the moment by turning the boost back down to stock levels. Now I can drive without issues. When I jump it 17 though I get this code. I will just have to wait for my stg1 PCM
P1188 - did you reset the battery or remove the fuel pump fuse to clear the CEL?
Yep, Removed the battery more times than I care to remember recently. The code continues to come back though. I can eliminate it for a day or two but as soon as I get on it the code pops back. I dropped the boost on the WGA from 17 spike to 15 and havent had the code since. If it is indeed an A/F code then my resolution is easy. Stage 1, and an AFC. Hmm..Maybe the AFC then stage 1. Who knows, I will decide when I get the money and stop by Modern Performance.
I got rid of the code that was what really mattered. I can handle just over stock boost. It can be increased when I get the proper parts on my car to handle it.
Remove the white line going to the TIP sensor "Driver side fender behind stock airbox" Cap it off the is used by the stock ECU for a quick moment to check the outside pressure for correction. On the stock turbo and 2 1/4" pipe I made 321whp never got these codes at 22PSI spike anymore boost was DYNO proven to be worthless.
