MAMADOR; i dont know how handy you are but if you check the wiring to the map sensor you will probably find the 5 volt reference pulled to a low due to a shorted sensor somewhere on the k7 5 volt supply circuit.
backprobe the 5v wire if you dont show 5 volts then start unplugging the sensors on that circuit until you see your 5v come back at the map.
one sensor shorting out will pull them all to a ground and give you whats happening.in amy's case it was the speed sensor shorting out and causing it.
sensors on that ckt are;
speed sensor
cam sensor
crank sensor
map sensor
tps sensor
wow ok that was good and thank this is my problem when i crank my car it feels like it want to choke and trys to turn off and check ingen comes on.. then out of no one my car stars accelerating by itself when im driving... u think it can be that map sensor?
I just got code P1188 two days after installing the AGP Uppipe and removing the TIP red line completely from the car per AGP tech help.

I got 'no bus' message the other day. None of my gauges work except the gas one, but I'm not sure how correct it is. I took it to the shop with 3/4 of a tank now its almost full. Any ideas?

thanks for the reply. code went away, must have been something to do with me messing around with the dash wiring? who knows
if it starts up again, could be a loose pin in the connector, or the circuit board. we have seen problems with intermittent weird shit in the regular neaon clusters, and i think these are made by the same company.
good luck to you
