Default Trip to the dealership...

Just thought I’d let you guys know... I have a 03 SRT-4 and I took it to the dealership on 6/28 to get a few things “checked” out. I didn’t think it was too serious. There was a clunk noise heard and felt in the steering wheel when turning and sometimes when braking and accelerating, I had some random hesitation when cruising and then trying to quickly accelerate (I know what turbo lag is and that’s not the kind of hesitation I’m referring to), The clutch noise with the pedal up (chattering) had been making the same noise since day 1 with the car and Dodge said it was “Normal Dodge clutch noises” the first time I took it in and it seemed to have gotten louder over time, When my A/C was on the compressor cycling would make a thunk noise that could be felt though the floorboard and it did it all the time, My exhaust tips are not aligned correctly, 1 sticks out further than the other, which isn’t a big deal but I thought heck If I have to bring it in anyway they should go ahead and fix that too… I called them this past Friday and they were not done with it yet.. They told me that they ordered a steering column and spark plug wires and I have no clue what else they are doing.. When I get my invoice I will post what they corrected and/or fixed. Just thought I’d share the info since I’ve read a few posts with people complaining about a clicking/clunking noise heard from the steering wheel area. Thanks guys.. The car “SHOULD” be ready tonight but you know how that goes…

Got the Car back from the dealership along with the invoice showing what they did

Clunk noise from steering wheel- TSB- 19-007-02 Align and reposition steering column.. It still clunks! .. back to Dodge tommorow for that one.

Exhaust pipe alignment- TSB- 11-001-04... One pipe stuck out further than the other.. they fixed it to where the pipes match, I'm happy..

Hesitation when WOT- TSB- 1801204- Replaced all 4 plugs and wires.. no more stumble and the car feels like it is now has official SRT power!

They didn't check the A/C thunk.. not really that worried about it.. I think it's normal compressor cycle

Clutch chatter noise- "No abnormal noise observed at time of test".. Same crap as last time.. I don't care though.. the clutch grabs great, no biggie.. at least I have documentation where I took it for that noise in case something happens..

Loud ticking noise when starting up the car.. TSB 09500194- Remove and Camfer Cam Bearing Caps.. WTF is that!? lol.. Did they have to remove the head for that?..

All in all my local dealership is cool as hell.. They will fix the problems when they occur.. just thought I'd share the info L8a yall..

I saw the cost of the repairs.. they had it for 7 days $1653.xx and some change..

On the camfer cam bearing caps.....thats just removing the valve cover..pulling the cam bearing caps...camfering the edges..and putting it back together..nothing real major on that one...although, kinda odd way of inducing proper start-up lubrication...
