Default Transmission is loud as all hell!!!

This is going to take a bit, but I need to be as clear as humanly possible. A few weeks ago, I noticed a slight rattling sound when I crunk my car up in the morning, rattle would disappear as soon as the tranny would come up to operating temperature. So no big deal, no slipping, no shifting problems, we're golden. Fastforward to last night. My girls's car breaks down 2 hours from home in Tallahassee(two blown tired in 5 minutes!), so I roll out of bed to get her. Well along the way, I noticed that getting into gear sometimes(2nd and 3rd) was tough depending on engine speed and driving conditions. No biggie though, got her and roll out. Well literally, right as we roll into the driveway, it starts making a hellacious rattling sound and its damn near impossible to get into gear. It will drive though, once you get it going you can shift and dig this, depress the clutch, the noise stops entirely. I'm running a SB Modular Stg3. I've heard of throwout bearings backing off or some bolts backing off inside, so I wonder what's going on. Doesn't sound like bolts though so I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas?

No ideas? Bolts backing off the flexplate or throwout bearing?

It's getting pulled apart now as we speak. I'll keep you update. Looks like the previous owner did one things right on this 03'.... Swapped in the 04' tranny with the LSD. Other than that, the damn tool ragged on the car and beat it to shit, so I'm stuck catching all the shit end of everything.
