If you look you can tell its been worked on.I usally fix it myself. I dont like other people working on me car.SO if there is info on the procedure....... Thanks
i think this is what has been going on with my car rough idle and from 2500-4000 RPM if you let off it kinda sticks then drops a little. Should be covered under warranty right??
Mine went back to the dealership again... The wiring harness is plenty long enough and everything is giving the correct readings. The RPM's surging to 3K or more doesn't happen all of the time, but when it does it isn't much fun. Especially when you release the throttle and the car keeps accelerating. The dealership has put in all of my information on the STAR system and is awaiting a response on the next course of action because they don't know what to do at this point. Every time the fix the problem, just a month later and it starts acting up again.

No problem...
First thing is to figure out which one is causing the problem - sensor or wire.
When idling, before the white sensor plug wiggle the wire to see if the idle changes.
I allready replaced the tps and it went away now its back.I need to know what exctaly is entailed in fixing it.I know you lengthen the wires.Do you replace the pins with new ones? or are they in the wrong place and need to be swapped?
Yes...I should know, I went through three of them.
If there is anyone close to you, use there map sensor on your car to check it out before purchasing a new at 64.00 dollars to see if this is the problem.
I don't see any problems with the wire but there is a 2005 engine wire harness being sold on eBay currently if that is the true problem that has not fully surfaced yet.
