whats up guys, ive been having a problem with my car with the steering wheel vibrating violently and jerking and pulling to the left, it pulls alot to the left when i accelerate. also when i turn right while moving i can hear sumthin click. anyone think it could be a wheel bearing or axle? its definetly coming from the front right of the vehicle.

Did you check your LCA bushings?

Any of the above really, you should hear a whine when on the highway if it's the wheel bearing. I've mainly experienced a shake from an axle during light acceleration, and it got worse to a real bad shake later.
Possibly a tie rod, ball joint, coupled with a blown strut or loose motormount.
Check em all, and fix it, or else they will start knocking each other out.

Of course, rule out ice on the wheel first.

Yeah ive had axle probs before but i wouldnt think that it would jerk the car like that when turning, and not excellerating. Im going to replace shocks and strut mount. i will see if this helps.

Did you guys find the problem? Mine has been jerking to the left after I've been on the highway for awhile..the only time it jerks is when Im shifting or decelerating. Basically when I kill the throttle my car wants to throw me into oncoming traffic or a wall. :'( its getting scary

That was on my old srt-4, ended up being the steering rack. I had to get it replaced.

Had some repairs done to my car and i get it back with super hard/tight steering.. would stay in place around turns.../fist. first they told me its how it is .. then they Did something to get it "loose". thats how i can best dezcribe the steering now... feels now "loose" in some way... if ican prove its steering rack. I can try to get money from insurance. Any advice/ ideas?

i just brought it to my mechanic because i thought it was a shitty axle or something since it kept jerking to one side. but this was VIOLENT jerks and the whole car shook like crazy even at like 25-30mph. I say bring it to another shop with certified mechanics, or even a dodge dealer and just have them take a look at it for you..they should'nt charge you just to find the problem.

I work nights so its hard getting to a mechanic..and I know its a pain in the ass to replace. Not to mention pricey..but could it just be loose? Or is it shot?

Idk im going to have Howard take a look. He did my clutch, 3rd gear syncro, lca bushings, hubs and bearings. Drives like new!!! Except it still pulls left after accident. Going to ensure its not axles or rim/tires tracking or something ...
