Some srt-4 hater hit my car yesterday.

And he didnt hit it as an accident, he hit it in purpose. Last Night when I went out with some friends, I left my car at my house alone and no one was there except my car. I know there is alot of SRT-4 haters in my town because i hear rumors all over town that alot of people want to jack my car or do a hit n run on me. So im guessin someone hit it because they hate me or something. (The insurance does not want to cover the damage for some stupid reason)

I have a question for you guys now, I was thinking about how to fix this damage, and i was thinking either:

-Take it to a shop, ask them to fix and repaint it for me.

or

-Buy a new or used fender and buy the paint myself and a friend of mine would paint it for free.
I found a used fender in good condition for 75$ and im pending the payment until I hear about your guys opinion. My friend has all the painting tools, i just got to get the paint and he'll paint for me for free.

So what do you guys think I should do>?

Well were trying to find that out but what about fixing it? What do you guys think?

File a hit and run report with the local PD. Then find some pics of your car dated before the accident. Call the insurance company and fax them the pictures, and if that doesn't work, find an attorney.

I would not pay for the work because if your insurance company has collision/comprehensive and/or uninsured motorist, then you already paid for it (In your insurance premiums).

Seriously, if you pay to get it fixed, you won't see a dime from your insurance company.

My insurance dont want to pay for it. N i dont want to get into that much shit. I just want to fix my car fastest and cheapest way possible.

Yea but wouldnt my insurance rate go up? I dont want to be paying more...Im 17 by the way and i dont no nothing about insurance...Im still in High School and im with my parents still....They would get pissed if I get into alot of shit..They just want me to take it to a shop or fix it myself...we arent poor but I just want to know the cheapest way to fix it up

Just my input, and I realize that you are young. I am taking your word as gospel on the hit-n-run.

FOR ME:
I would file a police report this is a legal document as to the damage, location of the accident and the time. IF you ever find the individual now you can go after them for reimbursement legally.

Since you found a fender for such a great price I would scoop it up and do it yourself. Lets say $250 for fender, sand paper, paint, beer...oops forgot your 17. This is still probably less than your deductible and won't raise your ins. rates.

Just some thoughts then trash the assholes car that did this. If your a small guy take up martial arts then trash his car and defend yourself should he come after you personally.

Naw im not small, Im 5"11 165 pounds really atheltic too....Its just my town is gang infested and if the person that did a hit n run on me was gang related, I would get into alot of shit with the them. I bet I know who did it and they are in a gang called LVL. They are the most notrious in our town. So i dont really want to get into shit with them. I probably will end up finding out who did it, Ill see what happenes when I do.
