Rpm Issue - SRT Forums

This problem only started happening about a day ago but what happens is my RPM's seem normal until i put my car into neutral, when it's in neutral the rpm's go crazy and rev anywhere between 1500-2500 RPM without me touching the pedal at all. Anyone know how to fix this? thx.

Before everyone else jumps in, I just fixed this issue on mine. Do you have an aftermarket throttle body? If so, putting it back to stock is the only thing that fixed mine.

I tried re connecting the red and white line, I tried messing with the TPS.... Nothing.

Went back to the stocker and its gone.

Yea i have a new throttle body but i dont have my stock any more hmmm

I'll put money that even if you rip all the vac lines out of the TIP sensor, the red line, or any of that soleniod junk, but put the stocker back on, it will go away. It sucks because id really like my larger one on. Makes a big difference on my car.
