Exclamation Rough Idle ?

I bought my srt 9 days ago on the way home about 60 miles from the dealer I stopped to take a break. The car seemed to try an miss and almost sound as if it was going to back fire at idle. Now 800 miles later and 2 trips to the dealer (not finding any thing wrong of course) the car is running rough at idle and seems to have and intermidant miss or surge at higher rpm. Using 91 octane fuel have not reved rpm over 4000. Any Ideas ? Suggestions? Also I hear what sounds like a lite lifter tick the dealer says its normal and the car is fine.

My 2001 RT and my 03 SRT has a lifter click since day 1. I am not sure if its normal but I have had it since day 1. I pyt over 40k on my 01 RT in 1 year of highway miles and it was problem free. I think my idel is a lil wacked sounding at times as well.

i have about 2800 miles on mine. about 2 weeks ago i started having a rough idle. on top of that, when i accelerated it, it stayed accelerated, and when i would put it in neutral, the revs would go up without my foot on the gas pedal. i was like WTF!? i took it to the dealership and they found a ground wire that wasn't connected right. i've never messed with n e thing under my hood so maybe it came loose while driving it rough. they plugged the wire back in right and it runs fine now. maybe that's ur problem too...........

I'm going to take a close look at mine tomorrow, we might have to find the idget responsible for these harnesses and wrap him in some friction tape

I just looked at mine. Who thought that bending a two wire harness into a 180 degree bend and then plugging it into a connector that still strains the wire was a good idea? That's asking for trouble. I'm assuming the TPS is the two wire just across from the throttle cable attachment to the throttle body.

I know this was a while ago, but do you have any details on what exactly they fixed? Mine idles like ass and I want to know why, I've been searching for about a month now.
