Default Question About Extended Warranty

So I have the extended warranty from dodge and need to have the 3&5 synchros replaced, do I have to go to the dealer or can I go to my mechanic for this to be done. The dealers in my area are telling me they need the car for about 5 days and that they are currently backlogged for 4 weeks.I would love for this to get fixed asap so there is no other problems. Thanks for all the help.

If it's a Chrysler Service Contract, you have no choice but to go to a dealer.

If it's an aftermarket contract, then you could go elsewhere.

If you're not sure, you can pm me the last 8 of your vin and I can see if it's a chrysler contract.

I think it may be Chrysler. It says Chrysler on the gold card that was issued to me. I just hate the B.S. that all the dealers here in Socal are doing. My only car has about 68,000 on it and they are telling me that they can't get me in for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Yes, CSC contract and it must be done at a dodge, chrysler, or jeep dealer.
