Default Problems still check this....

I replaced my plugs yesterday after making sure all the wires were still in good working order started it up it idled fine. Drove down the road after 2 miles I started to get a slight miss, I eventually Romped down on her and it Misfired/sputtered like crazy. Got back to my house pulled the plugs all of them where White as could be. That was a 4 mile trip Can anyone out here try to point me in the right direction to get this fixed before I break down and take it to a stealership.

White means very lean.

Mods?

Let me add this for you:

SPARK PLUG INDICATOR - An extremely white insulator with small black deposits and premature electrode erosion.

Symptoms:
Loss of power at high-speed or during heavy load

Causes:
  • Plug insufficiently tightened
  • Engine insufficiently cooled
  • Ignition timing too advanced
  • Plug heat range too hot

sounds like what happen to my car. my coil went bad. Never looked at my plugs to see if they turned white but ur symptons are the exact same i had. See if anyone in ur area has a srt and swap coils for a sec. that should be ur problem and hope that helps.

You still need new plugs but try the coil pack first.
