Angry Problem!! I Have No Idea What It Is ;-(

NOTE TO SELF: I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIX THIS FOR LIKE 2 WEEKS--NO LUCK.

Hey...I guess I should say the whole story.

So I have the AGP wastegate (my mods are below) and I have it holding about 16psi to redline. I have the boost controller going to like 19.5psi and going down from there until redline when it is at about 15-16psi. (Keep this in mind: If I turn off the boost controller, the boost goes to about 15-16psi. That is how i originally set it)

Im driving, pushing it on the highway, i hear a werid spool up sound as if i still had my AEM intake. I pull over, turns out the 2 hoses that are connected to the turbo came off. I was like....OKAY..not a problem...ive seen this happen to people before. When I go home ill just zip tie it!

OK, i get home, I zip tie the 2 gay ass hoses, and i take it for a ride with NO BOOST CONTROL. I have the Greddy profecB completely OFF so it should technically boost to the 15-16 psi that I had the wastegate too.

TURNS OUT that the gauge doesnt go past 8psi (remember, it should be going to like 15-16 with the boost controller off). I say to myself, FUCK WHAT CAN BE WRONG NOW. So I go home, let it cool off, and I tighten the agp wastegate 3 turns. Take it for another ride without boost controller....instead of 8psi this time it went to like 11-12psi.

What gets me is HOW THE HELL could the agp wastegate adjust itself after those 2 hoses popped off the turbo? Shouldnt it just be pop the 2 hoses back in and viola! shouldnt it be back to the wasy it was? I am thinkint that something else had to happen along with the 2 hoses popping off for this to be happening. What I am saying is that I shouldnt have to tighten the AGP wastegate because it worked fine for 3 months at 15psi with no boost controller and now all of a sudden its down at 8psi! My poor lil 2 bolts on the AGP wastegate are practically almost touching now since I turned it up 3 turns and it only went from 8psi to like 11psi with those 3 turns. I mean, something has to be wrong here, somewhere! I should be able to turn back the 3 turns like I used to have it, fix whatever is wrong, and it should be back at 15psi. HELPPPPP

So for the fun of it, i turn on the boost controller. I cant get it to boost over 18psi, no matter how high I turn it up. And the boost controller does some really fast ticking sound that seems to be coming from inside my dashboard (ive heard profecB owners talking about this also)

So I am mad confused, we checked everywhere that we could for a leak somewhere. I have no clue what is causing this.

Please, someone, give some suggestions!! ;-( reply back to this thread of feel free to call me at 908-868-5580.

Thanks!!

well the agp wga has an 8 psi spring so thats why you saw the 8 your boost controller may be messed up... or you may be having a leak. i lost boost once.. but only cause the mbc nut came undone and all the way out... and it may also depend on where you have the flapper valve set... you can tighten the agp as much as you want but if you have it open a bit and tighten it youll notice lost boost

it got rid of my time and like messed with my radio, but other then that, still the same.

I am going to try to bypass the greddy profecB because people have told me that they do go bad and stuff like this starts happening.

;-)

we'll see...thanks for the suggestions I will certainly try them!! once I find out what it is...ill definately post what it was lol
