Default Power Steering Belt Help!!

Ok yes i am new but i have done my research on this problem and tried it all. First the car:

2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4 Stage 3 W/Toys.
Only mods i can think of that would have an affect on anything do this is i have the Wishbone motor mounts(may not be relevant).

Sources i have read and tried:
Serpentine Belt pop off?

How-To: Replace Power Steering Pump

Ok so forth and so on.

The so called fix:

I was at the track(long story short) came off the line wheel hopped and broke and axel and broke the P/S reservoir. Ok went to a dodge dealership and paided $400 for a brand new pump.
One week later got on it in full boost and BAM the pulley shattered. Took it back off and returned it(gotta love warrenty work)and got a new one Installed it and then done some further inspection.
The belt is riding and actually pulling off the side of the pump. So i beat my crank pulley on checked my A/C brackets and all is good. Upon further inspection my P/S reservoir is actually hitting or not hitting but rubbing on my intake manifold. It hasnt busted or anything yet because i havent got on it any(dont want to risk messing another one up)thing like that.

Problem:
Belt is sitting about a 1/4 inch to towards the passenger side and trying to come off. It hasnt yet but before too long it will shread the belt. and the reservoir is touching my intake manifold.

Solution:
???? I have tried bending the brack and that didnt work out too well. I replaced the tensioner and still no help. Installed a new belt nothing.


What i need:
I need to know what to do to fix this problem. It really isnt a big deal but i dont want to take the risk of breaking the pulley or shreading a belt(again).

I would greatly appreciate any and all help. Thanks guys and gals.

Oh yes and is is possible that i could get a spacer made? i have a friend who can make one he just needs the measurements. But i would still prefer to get it fixed the right way. And if anyone has had this problem and made a spacer send me the specs you used. Thanks again.

maybe your motor mount bracket is slightly bent where the pump is mounted?

yes i thought the same thing but the bracket is solid metal and i cant bend it back any i just tried and its too stought lol

Lol, yea that is some thick metal. I mean, thats pretty much what it could be. Something defintly got tweaked when the axle broke.

how do ya'll suggest that i go about bending that thick thing back? lol maybe a torch and a pry bar?

The only reason i think this is because u said it happened right when the axel broke. Another possibility...maybe 1 of the bolts for the bracket (that bolt to the block) broke, and now the bracket is tweaked the wrong way?

And it will be a couple of days now i was playing around with a friend beside me and BOOM the pulley shattered so now i have to hope that warranty will replace it AGAIN

Ok they are going to replace it but i have a question.....

The part where the motor mount connects to the big bracket on side of the motor(the one that holds the p/s pump), it only scews off on two places correct? One of my bolt holes are broke and not sure of the other one yet.
If you look at your on your motor where it screws into is a little spot made on the block and mine is broke so thats where the problem is, its broke and causing the motor mount to twist and have it in a bind and then throw the whole p/s pump off.

So i need to get it fixed. Anyone had the similiar problem happen or what?
And i believe the motor will have to be pulled and the block replaced?
Not sure i just need a little info on it

And also is there a belt that will just run the ac compressor? if so whats the part number so i can grab one it sucks without a a/c in alabama.

So a bolt broke off on the motor mount support bracket and is stuck in the block? Fuuuu! The support bracket is attached to the block by 3 bolts. I doubt you'd have to replace the block, I'm sure you could get the broken bolt out.

Not sure on the belt size to just run the A/C compressor.

lol i win.

u dont have to replace the block, u can get the bolt out but it will suck. u will need some good drill bits
