Plume of blue smoke on start up

Hello world, so as we all know the weather in nj is reaching freezing temps and our cars are hating it! Anyway this is the situation

Its 27 degrees and my car has been sitting overnight. So i go to turn it on and everything seems ok until i notice a Cloud of blue smoke. It cleared in about litterally 3 seconds. It doesnt smoke @ ALL when driving nd it recently just started doing this (1st time)

The car has 105,780 (tial bov only mods)miles just did an oil change (m1 fs)

Ive done research and have came up with this

Bad valve seals?
Bad turbo?
Will a turbo timer help?

I need help guys Thanks

The turbo is probably starting to go on you. If that's the case then it's a easy fix you can pick up a good used stock turbo for like $75-$100 bucks these days. If the turbo is alright then you might have other problems. I would start with a compression+leak down test then go from there. Good luck

Where could i find a turbo for that price?(just for future refrence)

And just to make sure good compression numbers are 150ish?

Thanks for the help

4/2/12 edit -- it was a bad turbo

I have the same issue, recently rebuilt (kicking my self for not changing the valve stem seals).. & also in NJ

After the car was warm i had to add some oil (due to another issue) and had the same blue cloud..

My guess is the valve stem seals

<check turbo air inlet, if no oil and the shaft is tight -- guessing not the turbo>
