Default Oil Light flashing?

Hey guys my oil light started flashing about a month ago. The oil level is good just a little overdue for an oil change. I do know the oil return line under the turbo is leaking due to a bad gasket. It only does it when I come to a stop then it will eventually just stay on. Does anyone know what causes this? Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
Landon

Euh, If my oil light was flashing, one thing I WOULDN'T do is drive the car. Let alone for a month! When it comes on it's usually because of a loss of oil pressure.

It's probably either your oil pump or the actual pressure sensor.

it only has 20,000 miles and the only mod is the stage 2 mopar wastegate. Could it just be from the oil leak, showing a drop in pressure. If i rev it the light will sometimes go away.

If you have that big of an oil leak, you'll have oil all over the ground in minutes, with an empty crankcase.

Hopefully it's just the oil pressure sensor. If not, it's the pump itself.

Its been a while, but I think a steady oil light meant low pressure, and a flashing light meant low level.
