Default oil light blinks on and off when at a stop

Hey Guys so a couple weeks ago i came to a red light and noticed the oil light turned on then quickly went off it continued to do so everytime i stopped after that. Once i got home i checked the oil and saw it was low so i did an oil change and drove around a bit and the problem went away. So today my light started blinking again so i pulled over and checked the oil level and it was good. Im starting to think its the oil sending unit the car has 102k on it. so my question is where exactly is the stock unit located?

Sometimes, different oils will cause the oil light to come on. What oil are you using? Weight? This might help: INFO: Diagnosing P0522 Code
