Default My clutch died in 2800miles wtf!

So, some of you might have seen my earlier post, on my car dieing...

I had to have the car towed Monday, it wouldn't move at all...Tuesday the dealer called and said it was the clutch, and I was like wtf no way...I went down to the dealer with PhatSRT4 yesterday to get my rental...(sucks working nights)My service advisor looks at me and was like "Were you speed shfitin, cuz we couldn't find anything wrong, and thats what it looks like" I said no.... Then says "You know what was funny, my cousin has one too, and his clutch went out".

So wtf is the stock clutch made out of paper? No way in hell powershifting my car 5-6 times is going to kill a clutch sorry...They warrantied it, but they want to place the blame on me it seems.

I have driven a chipped 1.8T GTi(stock clutch is out of a normal Golf), 200whp and 240ftlbs and powershifted that more than the SRT in ONE FUCKING DAY, yet that car has 30k miles on it and is fine WTF!

I will hopefully get my DSM back today, ahem SRT...I hope nothing else breaks, I don't want to take all my shit off again.

Oh almost forgot, she also told me to give it 5k miles to break in the new clutch, I was like uh no try 500...

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting, also told them might aswell put oil in it, shes like "Ok thats $19.99.".. I was like no way for synthetic... "Oh you want synthetic, I'm not sure how much that is gonna be, I will tell them to put it in though"... I was like just give me a magic marker, and I will write SYNTHETIC on the side of my car....

Interesting about the clutch. Ive got about 7500 mi on mine, at least 36 1/4 mile drag strip runs, and a fair amount of spirited street driving. No problems with clutch or anything else since initial map sensor at less than 1000 mi.

Aaron, look at it this way, you're getting a NEW clutch. I really do think our clutch is heavy duty, but it seems like there a few defected parts out there. I mean, hell, they put WOT shifting in the Stage 1 upgrade!! PVO would not have put that in as a feature if the clutch couldn't handle it. I know it will eventually wear out cause clutches are consumeables, but you know what I mean!

Aaron, when you go to pick your car back up, immediately pull the dipstick and see if they put synthetic in!!

Wasn't it that there was once a thread mentioning few clutch flukes? It came out from the assembly line like that. Something about the bolts/nuts/whatever coming loose. If I remember correctly few people mention to watchout for it.

Yes there were a few cars that had the bolts on the flywheel backout...My service advisor told me they didn't find anything wrong...

Well the next time something breaks I will take it back to the orginal dealer, this was one of the closer ones to me that towing would cover.
