Default mopar bov (of course)

ok first let me apologize i did try to search this but i am a moron. i just installed my mopar bov it is on right the 2 holes point towards the intake and the hole in the plate faces away from the turbo. it does make a psssshhh noise but it also sounds like there is a free flow of air rushing from under my hood when i accelerate hard is that normal again sorry i am an idiot and i dont know anything about turbo's

You mean the turbo sound? that'll be a little more noticable with the bov installed, but not much. Did you remove any vacuum lines during the install that you didn't hook back up?

no no lines but it is like the turbo sound but 5 times louder so you are saying that is normal and i am just dumb?

Is you're boost normal (10-15 depending on stock or s1)? Does the engine pull as strong? It's probably normal.

yes just as strong boost levels seem normal i was just making sure it wasnt going to hurt anything i really appreciate your help

holy crap i was wrong i got to take it out on the autobahn and not only does it not get as much boost but the boost fluxes please help me i dont know what to do

take the bolts off and put em back in. make sure they're all tight. make sure the gasket is in place.

u just gotta make sure theyre on super tight and that there are no leaks mine doesnt do that so dont worry u just gotta slap it on a lil tighter.

i would use a little bit of gasket sealent along with it...make sure its on tight as hell

so it isnt likely that you can put it on too tight cause it is on tight but not real tight
