Default melted tail lights

I just noticed today that BOTH of my taillight lenses are warped and melted pretty bad, anyone else have this problem?

i thought someone here told you it was bad to light those ppl in your trunk on fire man! DAMN!

anyways, no i dont have this problem, seriously tho, how did this happen, i have no problems other than my own mental problems. but thats different.

not sure why it happened, it had to have happened recently cause i didnt notice until today. But im not at all surprised, especially with the amount of problems ive had with the car

i havent told the dealer yet, i dont drive the car right now cause of winter so ill bring it to them in april

That sucks man, I don't understand how you are having this much trouble with it. The only thing I can think of is you had one of the first ones produced with early production bugs still in it. I got mine in Aug of 03 and haven't had any problems. Very odd indeed, if problems keep persisting I'd tell Artioli to eat a dick and give you an 04

The only thing that comes to mind is that the wrong bulb was installed and is producing more heat than the lenses are made to handle. But who knows...

Believe it or not Build Day can have an affect on quality too. You dont want a car built on friday afternoon, all the workers have their mind on the weekend, Quality drops.

that sounds shitty what squelch said, but it makes perfect sense, and its really hard to come to grasps that cars are built like that. But who here works M-F and when friday comes along isnt in a hurry to get out. IT would make total sense to me, but you said you didnt drive the car, is it in a garage or somewhere exposed to direct heat??

nope, just sits in my driveway, far from having direct heat on them, lol. Its been freezing here for the past 2 months

best day to buy a car is wednseday. my dealer told me this, and since its hump day, there are finally getting into the week, and not ready for the end of it yet.s
