Default i think my turbo is fcked or maybe something eles .. cant drive ,ANYONE????

ive had my 2003 srt-4 for about 4 months now and since i bought it i knew the turbo was a little bit fucked up because it would bog down and shit out around 12 psi but now i was driving down the road i shifted into 3rd and when it went into gear it made a popping sound and the car was acting like i was hitting the gas when i wasnt .. then my brakes got really stiff and now when ever i start my car it makes a weird noise , runs liek shit and when ever i hit the gas the rpms stay up and take a long time to fall back down and on top of that the brakes still are extremely tight and will barely work .. i dont know what to do , some one told me to buy a new turbo but i dont know .. ANYONE KNOW???/

sounds like a vac leak - check all the lines, trace point to point -- a boost leak test is your best bet.

i've had a misfire cause the vac line to the break booster pop off.

what do brakes have to do with the turbo being bad? Brake booster line maybe? I think you have multiple problems. I think your turbo is fine. There are alot of parts that will brake before the turbo does. Take your car to someone familiar with these cars. Or just research the problems and go from there.. when asking a question on these forums try to be more specific and more narrow as what you want answered.

sounds like maybe the pcv hose that gose to the intake manny. Im almost possitive. Increase in rpm, no power breaks, and popping and bucking. All those things together mean something behind the trottlebody is open. PCV Hose, cracked Intake manny, lose trottlbody or spacer, blown out map sensor, or blown hose (bottom of intake manny), or lose intake manny. These things are all relitivly easy to check.

Relax dude, that happened to me a couple times when I was racing. You're vac line came out. Just tighten the vac line (should be one of the ones in front of the engine).

To the OP, are you familiar with what vac lines are, and what they look like?

um, correct me if im wrong, but how does a bad turbo affect your brakes?

It is very possible that you do have a bad turbo, but i dont see how that would affect your brakes.

Its a 3/8inch line going in to the brake booster most likley it popped off mine did before scary you dont have brakes push on use a zip tie or small clamp. If you use clamp dont tighten to hard or the plastic will break.
