Default how do i get this to stop

ok, so for about 6 months or so now, i am always getting a P0133, O2 slow response, code and it keeps coming back. i reset the PCM pretty much every time it pops up and it keeps coming back. and for those of you that tell me to change the sensor, i am on my third one. i have done everything that i can to try and fix this problem to no avail. i have tightened every single exhaust bolt and still nothing. and the weird thing about it is that my a/fs are fine in the 14.0-14.2 range. also it always pops up while cruising.

anyone have any suggestions other than what i have already tried?

thanks

Check the wiring that goes back into the harness. Since its slow response I'd guess that the heater in the 02 sensor isn't working properly. Could be that the wire from the 02 sensor after the clip is bad. When you replaced the sensor, did it fix the problem at all? Like it goes away for a while and then comes back after a while? The wires could be crossed somewhere causing the heater to go bad before long. I'd follow the wires back into the harness to see if you can find any visible faults. Hope this helps.

Exactly. Start tracing wires.

i was afraid someone would say that. from a quick glance all of the visible wires that you can see when you are looking at the sensor look good, the connectors look good. maybe i will see if i can just replace the wire harness for that and see if it fixes the problem. thanks guys.
