hesitaion and temp - SRT Forums

im not sure if this is the right place to post cuz im new to the site but my srt4 neon 05 has a weird hesitation that just started when i shift into 2nd or 3rd gear sometimes it seems like the gas pedal dont work for a minute i have let off and step on it again its just dead for a sec ive checked all the mechanical things like the throttle cable and throttle body outside of some oil in there its fine im stuck can anyone help.. also what is the normal operating temp i stay at 200 deg. plus

the only mods are aem short ram mopar b.o.v. conversion and iridium one step colder plugs..

Do you mean when you shift into second or third gear and then hit the gas it hesitates for the first second and then go's? Because my car was doing that and I changed my coil and it accelerates smooth now. It could be your plug wires or the coil itself, just coming from an experience I had.

i second the coil. it could be the coils and or plugs. thats my guess man

thanks guys its been driving me crazy i will try and replace the coil and wires with granitelli. i let you know what happens. thanks again
