Default help with thermostat housing

Can anyone give me some advice on how to remove the lower thermostat housing? I can't figure out how to get to the bottom two bolts. Thanks.

12mm? ratchet on 1/4" drive socket with extension on the inboard one. outboard i used a combo wrench. i don't remember exactly what size socket it is. i had to pull the intake mani to get it out. when you pull the mani, don't forget about the brace that connects the intake mani to the block. its just below the TB towards the passenger side. only reason i had to pull the intake mani was because i couldn't disconnect the bottom water line without doing it. also, be prepared to replace/rtv the gasket. mine was pretty flat and unusable.

that sucks, I was hoping to avoid that. I think they are all 10mm, at least the top one was.

the bolts are 10mm, I use a small extension, a swivel, and a 6 point, that and a ratcheting 10mm wrench .

Alright finally did it. I ended up removing the intake manifold to get to that other bolt. FWIW, you can replace the housing without removing anything, but for adding the spacer, I had to take off the IM.
