Any codes? Sounds like a bad Cam position sensor maybe. Or at least thats what mine did with those symptoms.

Cam shaft position sensor circuit. That is what your code is. How you go about fixing it is not something I can tell you, but that's what the code is. Imma do some searches for ya and see how it can be fixed. I do things like this in hopes that one day, when I'm throwing codes and my car is taking a shit on me, someone will help me.

That's the link on how to replace the cam shaft position sensor... well it's KINDA a how to. It tells you what to do.

Any chance you are under warranty? Just remember that when mine went they were quoting outrageous pricing for this issue.

I did a search and I read it's only a $60 fix. This true? Anyone know the part number? I'm currently driving home and posting from my phone.

I'm under warranty but if it's a $6" fix I'll do it myself. I would rather not go through the hassle of taking off mods to take it in for warranty.

Supposedly several people have fixed this by taking it out and cleaning it. also something about the terminals being dirty. I'd try all that first.

I'm sure one of the Mods will know the part number. I don't even know the link to the part numbers. I guess I could go dig out the ole paper service manual and try to hunt it down, but it's GOT to be on this site somewhere.

I can't find a list of part numbers anywhere. Did multiple searches for cam shaft part number, cam shaft position sensor part number, cam part number, how to replace cam sensor, how to cam shaft position sensor and so on... NOTHING. Either it's so easy that noone has posted a how to, or it's a dealer job (which I HIGHLY doubt). So... until Stowaway gets in here with the part number for ya (he always knows part numbers) or someone else sees this and posts the solution, I did my best.

Autozone sells them. Cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 bux. 2.4L. Easy fix.
