Default Help with Idle

My car is basically stock with a 3" AGP intake. Today i put in iridium NGK spark plugs gapped to .045 and a new MSD coil pack. When i drive and go to slow down the rpms hold at 1.5-2k until i am completely stopped, like the car is still getting throttle. What could cause this? It wasnt happening before the spark plugs and coil pack. I am not getting a check engine light

What if you take out the coil pack and leave the spark plugs in. I've heard bad things on the MSD coil pack.

Check your vac lines especially the one's around your TB. If all seems gtg, TPS (throttle position sensor)

l2 you mean for me to put the stock coil pack back in? sorry im a car noob lol.

HWY would i make sense for it to be the throttle position sensor when it was just fine before I did these 2 things? Again, i dont know if that would effect it or not.

Thank you both for the quick responses

I don't see how a coil will create a hanging idle. It's worth a try tho, to swap your stocker back in.

High Rev at idle

Things are not always related. There are such things as coincidences.

There are many nay-sayers on the MSD coil subject. I, for one, have had a MSD for like 2 years w/ no issues.

It's the big black hose underneath the IM. If this popped off you would have no brakes.
