Help with code PO888 w/toys install - SRT Forums

I got this code after finishing my install of my stage 2 with toys. It is a pending code and I have tried to erase it and it comes right back as soon as I start the vehicle. Initially I had 11 codes when I first started the car and it stalled but they all went away when I restarted it. I double checked all the wiring done before I hooked up the PCM connectors. No codes remain except this one.

Any real ideas?

The intercooler sprayer isnt hooked up yet and the LED for the octane switch isnt plugged in yet. The Dial a boost works fine and I didnt have one MIL come on in the 50 miles I drove to and from work today. Still have the TCM code though.

Sounds like you're using a DRBIII? From what I've read, that code is normal for toys. It's because the toys PCM is from an auto transmission application.

Crap, you know I think your right. Ill look into one other possibility i found while digging through the FSM. Thanx!

Edit: They should put this code in the diagrams as the code not to worry about cause I dont get the PO633 code on either stage 1 or stage 2.

I dont get that code (read above).

He really is correct, my mistake. Forgot it was an ATX PCM I think from the PT Turbo Auto and thats another reason why they cant use toys asside from fitment of the toys bezel.

I assume both of your kits are used and reflashed, correct?

I sent stage 2 to flight systems for VIN reflash, stage 1 still has my VIN in it from when the dealer put it in before I got the car. All done properly and everything is working good now. No change to boost levels as without the toys. If you run without the toys you get full boost in every gear like setting 3. Im going to update the other thread.

Hmm, you did a Flight sytems flash on your S2, but it displays no P0633? AFAIK, that's immpossible. Has the S2 been redone with a DRBIII in the car at all? Or just left alone with a tech?

I know of one case where the guy said he didn't have the code, but didn't know his buddy (the tech) had reflashed it for him.

Stage 2 was flashed by flight systems to get my VIN in but it has not been touched by a DRBIII ever, just a really good code scanner. I havent been to the dealer yet. As far as my stage 1 I dont think the dealer ever reflashed it since the car was brand new when they put stage 1 in it and probably never had a reason to. BTW what is AFAIK? Ive never figured it out.

Yes Ive pulled the codes with the key and with an Actron scanner. I dont get PO633 on either, ever, on any Staged upgrade. If I can find my camera I will take a pic of the DONE message and of my code scanner stating the PO888 code only. Maybe my car or set of PCM's are somewhat unique?

First time for me too. Should be impossible, since both the key itself and the SKIM module have to physically be present to send that SKIM key data to the PCM. But who knows.
