Fuel cuts , misfiring and more

Ok guys I hope ya doing good ,
I need some help and thous here ,
The car is spiking 18psi but holding 15
The problem is IF I do a dig or roll and powershift from 2nd to 3rd
The car will hit some serious fuelcut in 3rd , if I keep my foot on the gas
It will do it like 3 times on third gear and like 2 more on 4th then it'll stay at 110mph or so misfiring and not going forward , then when goin to neutro the car will turn off ... on the other hand IF I baby shift on 3rd and 4th it'll be fine , it does has the check engine on , p1187 and another one that ill post tomorrow morning , the spark plugs are 2 week olds , gap at 35 i believe , we check the sensor and they all have power , now according to some friends the problem might be
Stock fuel pump is bad
Coil pack
Spark plugs
02 sensor
Any help will be appreciate , and yes I had SEARCH a lot but nothing , thanks

Re: Fuel cuts , misfiring and more

I would check the spark plugs, wires and coil pack first.. Srt's do not have fuel cut, but they do have spark blow out.. Mods? If stock turbo I believe .050 is the stock recommended gap, so .035 might be a little but too much.. I'm pretty sure somebody will chime in to verify this information.. Also, p1187 is associated with overboost and map or tip sensor..

'04 Srt-4, stock turbo, act clutch, injen sri, maddog sts, dsp, torque mm's, bfmic, 3" exhaust with side exit, energy suspension bushing kit, rear koni adj. on eibach pro-kit, etc..

whoa .5 = half of inch
aslo .35 = ~ a third

but 0.050 is stock gap, and .035 is a great gap, you want the biggest gap possible with out blow out....

i run .035,,,

= )

if you run the 4306 u need to change them every other oil change...

your friend is prob right i had a local here and we swap everything and it ended up being his fuel pump..... i didnt have an extra to try.....

Ah btw the car is running rich , I can smell the gasoline when I'm on a stop and rev the rpms up
, I heard that If the car is running rich that might cause the 02 sensor read too much gasoline and send a message to the computer then the car would misfire ?
