front end clunk when motor torques - SRT Forums

my srt has a front end clunk that only happens when the motor torques as i move the car forward. it does it in every gear but 5th. the noise is comming from the driver side and all the motor mounts seem to be decent. it sounds like the noise is comming out of the transmission but is hard to pinpoint. ive changed the transmission mount but it didnt seem to help. it is a metal to metal noise. any ideas?

Have you looked closley at the tranny mount?

I would also say transmission mount or the big flat 3rd mount in the passenger fender.

I think its your ac mount coming loose. Mine did that the other day.
