If you havent solved the problem, add brake fluid to the clutch DOT 3 <-- read manual im not positive, I forget sometimes but yeah add some to brake or clutch just check which one is low on fluid
I had the same problem and my 2003 was still under warranty so i took it in and it was actually a sensor that becomes loose when gunning it. the deal said that when it get on it the motor shifts and causes the sensor to slowing start coming out of its housing.

That's why you shouldn't take the car to the dealer for simple maintenance items.

No no... i was just saying that i took my car in and told them about the E-Brake Problem. and after they fixed the sensor everything was fine. but they might have topped off all my fluids as well so that could be a whole other story
Alright fellows...I ve gone through this problem and I have added the brake fluid, but as I drive for about 10 miles, the brake light comes back on, and the brake fluid seems to be almost empty again????? What is going on?

That sounds like a dangerous condition... like you're leaking brake fluid! Bring it in to get it checked out!
....as the brake pads & rotors wear down, the brake fluid gets lower in the reservoir, causing the brake light to come on, top up and you'll be fine.....maybe at this time it's a good idea to also check the pads for excessive wear.
