Mine had that same problem.. Took her to the dealership.. All they did was put brake fluid in. It's fixed. They didn't check for leaks however, all they told me was it was more than likely from an airbubble or something like that. Don't get it.

As the brakes wear, the brake pistons are pushed further out. This in turn lowers the brake fluid level in the resevoir. So, you can be low on brake fluid, but have no leaks. It just means your brake pads are wearing down. Notice that this problem is happening to people with higher mileage cars. It happened to me too.

Try adding some brake fluid.... The light comes on when you're low... and when you floor it, the fluid may be "swishing" around, causing a temporary low condition.. but that usually means you're getting there anyways...
Mine did the same thing... ADD FLUID... It goes away..
I went for some Super Blue Racing Dot 3. MY friend just so happened to have some laying around after we got done rebuilding his entire Porsche Brake system. <<<Cries for some giant Brembos.

What kind of DOT is the factory fill? Thats what I'll go with. Noticed a few times at the track my brake light came on during my launch (wicked 2.1 60ft on street tires ). I'm just wondering what to fill it with and I assume mixing two different brake fluids is not a good thing.
