this does not exist, there are no such recalls or anything . i checked all tsb and recalls on all dcx vehichles for 04 and 05 and nothing. there wasnt even a rrt for the date listed above. you got a lot of people worried and shit!
what excuse would that be? im not the one calling bs on facts. star doesnt give out rrt information for some dumb reason. trust me ive tried. and whos gonna laugh me out of the dealership?
i took my car in yesterday after reading this and i told them what i read here so they checked out the noise had. well they called me today saying that 3 of my valves are bent and 2 are cracked. well heres the clincher, i have to pay for it cause they said that the only way it will happen is cause i was racing the dang car. i have an 05 with 8000 miles on it. i took the stg2 kit off 4000 miles ago. they told me that i shouldnt believe what i hear on"the stupid forums". chrysler denies having any problems with bent valves on any car, so they say.

Half the people in this thread don't understand at all.
If you have a 2005, don't worry about it. If it affects you, your dealership will call you.
If you go into the dealership asking for them to check to see if you have a bent valve, they won't do anything.
These types of things stay secret for a reason. Because if it was made public, every person with a 2005 would go into the dealership claiming they have bent valves, when in fact they don't.
Chrysler is merely containing this problem and keeping it quiet.
SRT-4FUN, you're a moron. You claim to work in a dealership yet you obviously have no idea what is going on here. Who are you at the dealership, the guy who gets the receptionist coffee?

If you followed your own advice you might not come across as a 3rd grader.
your the one coming across as the 3rd grader, sorry to say! you tried to insult that guy by saying hes some sort of coffee go getter. he tried to proove a point but you just want to be stubborn and insult him. anyway, my car is done and i get to go pick it up during mylunch break. the guy told me i was lucky i didnt mess the head up.

Well, not to start any arguments back up. But my car is suffering from really bad misfire. I own an '03 but had my engine and turbo replaced in Nov '04 due to Walmart blowing it up(long story). It does it in 5th WOT @10 psi where as it boosts towards 11 psi it totally misfires and goes back to vacuum. Keep in mind my car usually boosts 14 with no problem and I'm completely stock except for mopar BOV which was installed by dealership. I have an appointment with the dealership tomorrow morning. I will keep you guys posted!!
